Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Cadence, the live stage timer and run-of-show service at cadence.thecollectivesynergy.com. Cadence is provided by The Collective Synergy Limited, a private company limited by shares registered in Nigeria (RC 9559637), whose registered office is at 4 Ogudu GRA, Gate A, Salaudeen Akano Street, Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. By creating an account or paying for an event you agree to them.

1. The service

Cadence lets you build a run of show, run a timer for it, show a stage display and invite a small team. An Event Pass unlocks one event, or one session of a recurring event, for a 12-hour live window. Each pass includes up to 30 minutes of rehearsal before you go live and 3 team seats, you included.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or acting for a business or organisation that has authorised you.
• Tell us promptly at admin@thecollectivesynergy.com if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Prices and payment

• An Event Pass costs ₦75,000. Extra live time is ₦25,000 for 4 hours. AI boost packs are ₦10,000.
• All prices are in Nigerian naira. We do not charge VAT, so the price shown is the price you pay.
• Payments are processed by Paystack Payments Limited. We never see or store your card details.
• A recurring event needs its own pass for each session you run. We may change prices for future purchases; a price you have already paid is never changed.
• If the same event is paid twice, only the first payment unlocks it and the second is refunded.
• On request we will issue an invoice or receipt in your company’s name. Email admin@thecollectivesynergy.com with the event name and your company details.

4. Refunds

• Before you press Go Live, you may ask for a full refund of an unused Event Pass. We will refund it to the original payment method.
• Once Go Live has started, the pass has been used and is not refundable, except where the service failed because of a fault on our side. In that case we will either restore the lost time or refund the affected pass, at your choice.
• Extra live time and AI boost packs are not refundable once used.
• Refunds are requested at admin@thecollectivesynergy.com and are normally made within 10 working days. Your bank may take longer to show them.

5. The live window

The 12-hour window starts when you press Go Live. When it ends, the timer controls lock. Extend the window before it runs out if your event may overrun. Please plan for a stable internet connection at the venue: we cannot be responsible for outages on your side.

6. Your content

Your event titles, run of show, speaker names, notes and uploads remain yours. You give us permission to store, display and process them only to run Cadence for you, including sending uploaded run-of-show text to our AI provider when you use the import or prompt features (see the Privacy Policy). You confirm that you have the right to use that content and to share personal details of the people named in it.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use Cadence for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to publish content you have no right to show.
• Do not try to break, probe or overload the service, reach another customer’s events, or get around payment, seat or AI limits.
• Do not resell or white-label Cadence without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. If the breach is serious we may do so without notice.

8. Partners

If you join as a partner, commission is paid on Event Passes bought by clients you refer, as set out on the Partners page and in your own agreement. Commission is not paid on duplicate payments, refunded passes, extra hours or AI boost packs.

9. Availability and liability

• We work hard to keep Cadence running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Cadence is not a safety system; do not rely on it alone for anything where a timing error could cause harm.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about a paid event is limited to the amount you paid for that event, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost bookings or sponsorship.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending

You can stop using Cadence at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and a change that affects a pass you have already paid for will not apply to that pass. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We would like to settle any dispute by talking first, so please write to admin@thecollectivesynergy.com. If we cannot resolve it, the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction.
